A reflection

I retired last March 2023. In talking to Dr Ruh at my yearly medical check up shortly after retiring I suddenly realized that I have a bad family history of vascular disease (heart attacks and strokes). She suggested getting a calcium score chest CT scan. Guess what: I have early stages of coronary disease. This has led to further evaluations and good management of my cholesterol with the input of a cardiologist. I am doing well and have more peace of mind. I have to thank Dr Ruh for her guidance and persistence in evaluating my health issue.
