Anthony Behm, DO

My goal as your personal primary care physician is to provide personalized care that can help you as you work toward enjoying a healthier and more active life. I have a personal goal to remain active and continue to exercise most days of the week, combining strength training, cardio and martial arts as a means to stay more fit. I think it is important to combine regular physical movement with challenging our minds daily as we age. I believe medicine is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor and want to partner with patients to help develop a plan more suitable to their goals.

As an MDVIP-affiliated physician, I have more time to develop closer relationships with my patients, review records and perform more comprehensive exams. I thoroughly enjoy practicing medicine, and I can help care for you using my education, experience, compassion and understanding.

As a board-certified internist, I am just as comfortable providing personalized care for older patients with serious conditions as I am caring for younger patients whose goals are to work on staying healthier. I am particularly interested in preventive medicine and diseases of internal medicine, like heart disease, hypertension and diabetes. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health care screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. My practice also offers same- or next-day appointments with minimal waiting. I am happy to offer telephone or video visits and am licensed in Pennsylvania, California and Michigan for patients who may travel within those locales. I see patients from the greater Erie, Pennsylvania, area and am affiliated with AHN St. Vincent Hospital in Erie.
