My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

Growing up on a ranch in rural South Dakota, I learned the true value of good food, hard work and love.  I feel that incorporating that ethic into my medical clinic helps me work with patients to develop action plans they're comfortable and confident to implement as they work toward improved health.  My joy in medicine is caring for patients as family. I advocate on their behalf and work with them to understand their health goals and paths open to them.

As an internal medicine physician, my goal is to help patients by reviewing their medical conditions and developing a plan as they strive for the best quality of life possible.  There may be many ways to work to prevent advancement of disease, but each way is individual to the patient. Whether we're working to incorporate special nutritional needs, an exercise regimen, medication options, speaking with specialists or discussing a new concern, being your personal physician allows me more time to assist you on making more informed decisions. I believe there is a path to a healthier, happier future, and it is my privilege to help you obtain it.

After 10 years in the Venice, Florida, area, I have a good working relationship with many specialists in the area. My primary care practice focuses on hypertensive heart disease, lung diseases, kidney diseases and diabetes. I am dedicated to helping patients and their families find a better path forward. And my MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I also offer conveniences, like same- or next-day appointments with minimal waiting.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Miller

from Sandy in FL March 10, 2024 for Pamela Miller, DO

I’ve always been impressed by the fact that Dr Pam actually took the time to talk with me. She asked about different areas of my life and gave me the feeling that she actually cared. I never felt that she had to rush off to her next patient.

from Dennis in FL March 9, 2024 for Pamela Miller, DO

No specific story. Dr. Miller and her staff are very friendly, competent and responsive. Always give our family the best medical advice and care. Who could ask for more?

from Sarah in FL March 9, 2024 for Pamela Miller, DO

Dr. Miller takes the time to listen to me - my concerns and issues that could possibly become problems. I've never felt rushed. She also doesn't go by the "charts" for height/ weight but takes a look at me and evaluates with her best judgement. I trust my doctor to keep me as healthy as possible.

from Madeline in FL January 19, 2024 for Pamela Miller, DO

When I met Dr. Pamela Miller for the first time I knew I would never want to change physicians. She was so understanding and compassionate. I was basically very healthy and needed just routine annual visits. Then in March and April of 2021 I was experiencing some pain in all my joints. Thinking it was just arthritis I took tynol. Then one morning I was experiencing severe pain all over and… See more
