I have had the pleasure and honor of practicing general internal medicine at Atlanta’s Piedmont Hospital for over twenty years. I am transitioning into personalized medical care to provide my patients with a high level of disease management and prevention. Join Dr. Douglass each month for his health-focused radio program, Drive Time with Dr. Douglass on Atlanta’s Jazz Station 91.9 WCLK. The program airs the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. Hosted by Dr. Douglass and Paula Gwynn Grant, the show features health topics, a guest expert and health-related phone calls from listeners.

I was on a business trip in the Chicago area. I experienced pain in my lower back and side. It didn't go away. Co-workers suggested that I go to the local Emergency Room. No way.
