I believe that healthcare is a partnership between patient and physician, and I have always considered it a privilege to be entrusted with a patient's care. I encourage my patients to ask questions and to play an active role in all aspects of their care from prevention strategies to treatment decisions. I enjoy taking the time to educate about exercise, preventive care, chronic and acute diseases and treatment options. 

My affiliation with MDVIP has given me the opportunity to renew my commitment to personalized patient care with a strong focus on wellness and prevention. My internal medicine patients can reach me 24 hours a day, seven days a week. I am available in my office, area nursing homes and make home visits as necessary. All appointments are unhurried and focus on my patients' individual needs and goals. 

As a board-certified family physician, I have more than 20 years of experience caring for infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. I have a special interest in diabetes, heart disease, dermatology (including surgical treatment) and sports medicine. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. 

I am one of the few primary care physicians in south central Pennsylvania offering this type of personalized approach to patient care. My practice is located in Hanover, PA, which is convenient to Gettysburg, York and northern Maryland. I am affiliated with Hanover General Hospital and have been a school physician in the Hanover School District since 2006.
