My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My goal is to treat the whole patient, not just the illness. I am dedicated to delivering more individualized care with a greater focus on preventive medicine and fostering stronger doctor-patient relationships. I can provide more personalized attention and more time to review each patient's unique health needs and concerns. I am committed to help promote wellness through more comprehensive evaluations, more proactive screenings and wellness plans better tailored to patients’ needs. The annual MDVIP Wellness Program and its advanced screenings and tests help to support those goals. By offering same- or next-day appointments and unhurried visits, I aim for my patients to receive the attention not available in most other practices.

The doctor-patient relationship is of utmost importance to me. I enjoy taking care of my patients, and I treat them like I would my own family members. I love to spend time listening to their current issues, along with their life stories and concerns, taking care of them, advocating for them and educating them so they feel more empowered to take a more active role in their health. I am passionate about helping them pursue an improved quality of life.

I chose MDVIP because I believe that in traditional primary care, doctors are usually pushed to see more patients in shorter appointment times, and, as a result, the time patients get with their doctors is shrinking. Ultimately, in my opinion, the doctor-patient relationship suffers. And in my practice, that relationship can be continually nurtured.

My areas of interest are preventive medicine, women’s health and obesity medicine. I also speak five languages, which I find very useful in treating patients from diverse backgrounds. I have been in practice for over two decades and have worked with many of the leading hospitals in Boston. I am currently affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC).

As an MDVIP-affiliated physician, I am proud to be part of a network that prioritizes patient wellness and satisfaction. My practice offers many services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in other concierge medicine practices.
