I had what was supposed to be a simple procedure to remove a basil cell cancer on my left lower leg. Late in the evening blood begin to run down my leg and since I was not to remove dressing, I reinforced and added an ace wrap to provide pressure. For 2 days after procedure, every time I removed ace would bleed profusely. I contacted the dermatologist office a little after lunch on a Friday, they were closed and had no one on call. So, I was in a dilemma.
I texted my PCP, Dr. Jason White, and explained my situation. I also asked if I should go to ER. Even though he had not been in the office that day,he told me to meet him at the office .
My husband took me to the office and as always, Dr. White was kind and patient. He spent nearly thirty minutes applying silver nitrate and pressure to wound. The bleeding finally stopped.

Dr. White did not have to offer his medical assistance, he could just have easily directed me to ER, but he didn't.
This was a very unselfish act, especially on a late Friday afternoon..
It just shows the dedication Dr .White has towards his patients and how he cares about their welfare .
This is only one of the many times Dr. White has shown his dedication to the health status of me and my husband.
We feel very blessed to have him as our healthcare provider.
