I’m a patient of Dr. Billet. I’m also a 100% Disabled Marine from Vietnam. My wife recommended him and his practice because he was instrumental in saving my brother in law’s life. We were newly married and I did not like going to the VA hospital, even though they would cover all the costs. I was unfamiliar with the VIP medical process and I thought how crazy to pay just to see a doctor. The old saying defines Dr. Billet. People don’t know how much you know until they know how much you care. Trust me when I tell you, HE CARES! I sustained shrapnel wounds to my arms, legs, and back. I have had 38 operations and spent almost 3 years of my life in a hospital. I had malaria 3 times. My care is complicated. But my physical care is not where Dr. Billet excels, it is listening to me! I’ve never really spoken about what I did in Nam or the person I had become, really, to anyone but my wife. I found myself talking to a person I didn’t really know at first, and he NEVER judged me for my life in Nam. I was being healed physically and emotionally. There really isn’t words that capture what Dr. Billet means to me in my life. It has been over 10 years now as a patient and he spares no expense of his own, keeping me healthy. I love this man and I hope he is recognized for the great job he does. Thanks Doc!!
