Dr Jennifer Walden-Fain is the best!

I have known Dr Fain since she graduated out of Vanderbilt med school. At that time I was encouraged by my primary care physician to transfer to her because she was young and she saw so much promise in her. I took a chance and I am so glad I did. Because of that nudge more than 20 years ago, I feel I have been blessed to meet not only an amazing, compassionate and caring physician but a wonderful woman and person. Dr Fain does hesitate to demonstrate that she cares about her patients. It is obvious she is a true practitioner who strives to stay informed about current medical trends and practices. She has been my health conscience and confidant. No concern or question is off the table. I had the nerve to seek another primary care physician at one point in our journey; it only took me 6 months to come right back! I will always remember how we both cried because it was obvious that we enjoy and respect each other. I remember her telling me she was so glad to see me because I was one of her favorite patients. I so much appreciate her always being accessible to me and honest. That goes such a long way. When I talked to her about my pending decision to retire, she was honest and unbeknownst to her was the voice I needed for confirmation to take advantage of my health while I was in decent shape as long as it was affordable for me to do so. She has not hesitated to be honest with me about my lifestyle choices which has taught me to always strive to take better care of myself so I could enjoy every aspect of my life because we only live once. I am so thankful for her and her team for their kindness exhibited towards me.

My retirement party was a trip to London and she was so excited for me.

Thank you Dr Fain, don’t change. Keep your heart and your commitment to your patients and your medical practice right where it is!
