Dr. Winkler was a pain in the butt. He was consistently telling me that I had chronically low white blood count and I needed to get it checked out with a hematologist. He finally went as far as to make an appointment with one of the hematologists in the same building for me and told me to be there. As it turned out, I turned out to have a disease which was a precursor to Multiple Myeloma. I had a friend whose father had the same problem, but, it was not caught until he was until he was well into the disease.

If it had not been for Dr. Winkler's caring, my problem would not have been caught as soon as it was.
