My best description concerning my experience with Dr. Nicora over the past twelve years comes from the 'Urban Dictionary' regarding the phrase, "I've got your back".
The Urban Dictionary's definition of "I've got your back" is as follows:
"An expression assuring someone that you are watching out for them. Comes from making sure you are safe by watching what's behind you when you're busy looking ahead".
I am a very opinionated person. "I've got your back" is how I describe Dr. Nicora actions in dealing with me when I choose to venture off in my own direction regarding my medical care. This is Dr. Nicora; not sure how much influence MDVIP has on this interaction with him.
