I met Dr. Lukowsky probably 10 years ago when I had to take my +80 grandmother to her, as her doctor had retired. That was before she was part of MDVIP and I felt a connection with her immediately. Then a few years later, my Mom was looking to make a change in doctors and I told her she should go to Dr. Lukowsky, Gramma's doctor, so she did. Then a year or two later, my Mom told me I needed a good physical and I should go to Dr. Lukowsky myself. I listened to my Mom, as she always knew what was best. My Mom passed away a little over a year ago after a serious staph infection. Dr. Lukowsky was always just a phone call away and I just recently went in for my physical as I had not been to see her since my Mom's passing. I burst out crying when I saw her and she asked how I was doing. I never saw that coming.....I had gained weight and she never criticized or fussed, she told me my blood work was good, and to just work on losing the weight a day at a time. I have no doubt that when I go in to her office, I am a VIP from the time I see her until I walk back out the door. She has a kind way about her and I feel blessed not only to have her as my doctor but to call her my friend.
