It is with sincere gratitude that I write my praises of Dr. Maria Lukowsky. I have been a patient of Dr. Lukowskys for over 20 years and have always felt comfortable and confident in her care. As busy as she is, Dr. Lukowsky always makes time to see me, answer my questions, and diagnose my problems. That only became easier when her practice transitioned into the MDVIP system. Besides all the thorough tests given at my yearly physical, a lengthy consult with Dr. Lukowsky always provides reassurance, explanation of blood test results, and useful advice for improving my health -- all in a one-on-one, non-rushed, professional consultation.
Although I have had many memorable medical moments with Dr. Lukowsky, two stand out in my mind, since being in the MDVIP system. When my elderly, 90+-year-old mother visited us and became ill, Dr. Lukowsky welcome her in her office several times and provided her with excellent care and attention. Mom required hospitalization on two occasions, and Dr. Lukowsky was at her side giving the best care. You would think she was Moms personal physician; this gave my mother great peace of mind.
Secondly, when I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year and called Dr. Lukowsky, she immediately returned my call and advised me about making appointments with an oncologist, a surgeon, and a radiologist whom she highly recommended, as a team of doctors who work very effectively together in their treatment of breast cancer patients. I have had excellent care with each of these physicians. During my treatment, I had to be hospitalized, and Dr. Lukowsky was right there at my side. I am so fortunate to have Dr. Maria Lukowsky as my primary care doctor.
