It was the weekend. I had decided to go in on Friday to have some blood drawn to check up on my thyroid since I was feeling a little slow and had been taking thyroid medication for a year now. I got a call on the weekend and it was actually my doctor calling me. She had received my results and wanted to get some more tests done. We should take a look at my full hormones as well she said. It was comforting to know she saw the results that quickly and took the time to reach out to me personally with a plan.
