When I was diagnosed with hypertension in my mid-30’s, my Doctor quit. I called the office and was lucky enough to have Dr Harkins answer the phone personally. This was unusual - but not for Jim Harkins. I explained my situation and he agreed to take me on as a patient (even though he was completely overwhelmed with his own patients). Not only did he agree to be my GP, but my husband’s as well.
I have been through many life experiences with Dr Harkins - always willing to listen to
Problems, etc. He has a great sense of humor and understands my crazy humor.
MDVIP - So pleased that Dr Harkins is a contributing physician - I really have an ally in my health management.
