Jeffrey Greer, Superdoc!

Dr. Greer has been my primary care physician for many years, even before the MDVIP program. I’m so glad I stayed with him in the program, and the membership fee has been well worth it! There isn't just one visit that stands out. He is very thorough and has done more to explain my medical issues than any other doctor I've seen. He doesn't hesitate to contact other doctors (I have to see a few specialists) to coordinate the best care possible for me. Every question is answered, and I never feel rushed or not fully informed, and he is excellent at explaining things in terms I can understand. During a prolonged and serious hospitalization in 2022-2023, Dr. Greer kept in touch with my husband for updates, checked personally and directly with other doctors and specialists treating me, and explained some of the things the others didn’t take time to. He always said “let me know”, we did, and he always responded. And we didn’t have to wait long for a response. When I got home after inpatient rehab, I was completely immobile. The occupational and physical therapists sent progress notes to his office, and I know he read them because he would comment on them in the weekly updates my husband sent through the portal. When the home health nurse suggested lab work to check on something, I could send him a text and someone would call to give the verbal order to the nurse right away instead of having to wait. She could do the blood draw during her scheduled visit instead of having to come back. We were completely taken by surprise when we got a message from his nurse with a few different dates and times asking if we could pick one for him to make a home visit. We did, and he spent nearly an hour at our house examining me, talking about everything that had happened, current and future treatment plans, medications, etc. Wow! Amazing! Having Melanie as his nurse is a bonus. She is awesome! I could write a book about how much he has helped me, but the space in this review is limited. I will always highly recommend Dr. Greer as a healthcare provider, but not to anyone looking for a good doctor. Only those looking for a great doctor!
