We have had a very difficult 2023. We sold our home in Texas and made the move to the Wilmington, NC are on July 16th. Thankfully and immediately we got ourselves set up with Dr. Leo Warshauer. We had our meet and greets, had our physicals and got our referrals. We instantly felt well taken care of and really liked Dr Warshauer and his team.
My husband was diagnosed with pericarditis August 15th while we were on vacation in New Jersey. During this initial and very scary time in the hospital Dr Warshauer answered our calls and texts during all hours of the day and night as we tried to figure things out. When we got back to Wilmington Dr Waurshauer saw Bill, reviewed his medications and reviewed what the cardiology team was doing and recommending.
Unexpectedly my brother passed away at the end of September and Dr Warshauer was so sincere in his sympathy and compassion.
Bill’s condition continued to worsen and on November 18th my husband collapsed and was rushed to the hospital by ambulance. I immediately called and texted Dr Warshauer to let him know what was happening. He immediately called me back and over the course of my husband’s 13 day hospital stay visited, called and texted to check in and review the test results with us. One of the last procedures my husband had before leaving the hospital was a double cardiac catheterization. He was discharged and two days later was back in the hospital due to a psuedo aneurysm. I called Dr Warshauer and he told us to get back to the ER immediately. Again, he stopped by to check in on Bill and review the test results with us.
In a very short amount of time Dr Warshauer has become a very important person in our lives. Very thankful and comforting to know he is there with us every step of the way to ask questions, listen, and provide guidance.
THANK YOU Dr Warshauer and thank you MDVIP for this medical service. So important and needed in todays medical environment.
