I had been bothered by congestion for a few months in the spring of 2017. Dr Lanza had seen me and treated me for the congested feeling I had. About a month later, after returning from a vacation, I contacted Dr. Lanza again telling him that my symptoms had not gone away, and made an appointment to see him. The morning appointment turned out to be more than a checkup. He again asked me what I was feeling, and decided to give me an EKG in his office. Turns out that the result showed abnormal heart activity. He immediately contacted a cardiologist and got me in front of him in a matter of minutes. The cardiologist confirmed Dr. Lanza's concerns and the next thing I knew I was rushed to the emergency room, and by early afternoon, I had a stent placed in an artery that turned out to be 90% blocked. This artery is known as "the widow maker".

The way I feel about this is that if it weren't for Dr. Lanza's actions that morning, I could have easily had a major heart attack.

I really appreciate the attention, care and compassion that Dr. Lanza provides to his patients!
