My Covid Nightmare

When vaccines first became available during the pandemic, I was able to get the first Moderna shot at the end of January. Five days after I received it, my lips swelled and I called Dr. Sheff and he asked me to send a photo. By the next day, it was worse, sent another photo and he prescribed medication.
He told me not to take the second shot. My lips were back to normal in a week but then the nightmare began.
I was advised by him to wait for J&J vaccine by May. I had a hard time waiting and then finding a provider. Dr Sheff helped me by suggesting where I might try. The same thing happened when I needed a booster several months later.
Each time I turned to him for advice on what to do. And last year when Novavax became available, he advised me again.
He continues to give me good advice and I trust his care.
