My wonderful physician Dr. Kasey Durant

Dr. Durant had sent me to the hospital to have my leg scanned to rule out the possibility I might have a clot in my leg after she had checked me in her office. The scan showed I did in fact have a clot. The hospital tech was wheeling me into the hospital ER just as I was able to phone Dr. Durant with the results. Dr. Durant was able to give me medication for the clot in her office, so I could avoid a long and expensive wait in ER for the same thing. My friend drove me to her office and I began treatment right away plus she gave me a prescription for continued medication to fill later at my pharmacy. She also informed me of danger signs to watch out for.
I love having the ability to contact Dr. Durant when I need advice, care or referral. This has become increasingly important now that I have reached advanced age.
