A new fan of MDVIP

I first meet Dr. Rey when she and her husband, Dr. Ansara opened their practice in Pompano Beach about 12 years ago. I had not met a Doctor that listened so attentively and compassionately since moving to the year many years ago. After seeing many specialists all trying to diagnose my extreme migraines none gave any credibility to the source of my issue which was as I knew was over exposure to solvents and materials used in art practices which had no ventilation in the school where I was teaching.
Dr Rey suggested a temporarily leave from the job to see if in fact the headaches would subside. I followed the advice and took a quarter off without pay to prove the source of my headaches. My migraines almost disappeared over night and over the time of my hiatus from work I was able to stop medications that were giving me severe side affects and ultimately was able to stop all medications. I finally felt like my old self, something I had not experienced in probably 7 years!
I appreciate that Dr. Rey is not quick to prescribe medications and took steps to seek preventive medical solutions. Thorough testing and monitoring results has helped me stay on top of any health issues that may occur.
I feel fortunate that I have the funds to be able to afford MDVIP and all of the inherent benefits of this kind of medical attention. There were moments where I may have had Covid or other virus's where I could get an appointment within a few days in Dr. Rey's old practice and I wound up having to go to MD Now for a same day appointment. I did get treatments that I needed but I have to say I had the strangest Dr. nice but not really professional. I believe he thought he was being "cool" or something but not what I needed from a physician. A truly weird story not needed in this review except in the context that when I joined MDVIP I l no longer needed to go into an unfamiliar walk in setting. My care has greatly improved!
I can contact DR. Rey through an appointment or phone call and being able to email or text the doctor is very helpful to me. If my symptoms warranted an appointment that was always an option however, I feel it may be easier for us to communicate more quickly through text or email. I never had this option in any other medical practice I have been associated with.
When I do need an in person visit or when testing is needed all services except for X-rays are available and most importantly to have not rushed quality time to discuss my health is the greatest gift of all.
