When I went for my yearly physical, late 2023, my doctor was reviewing my lab and other test results from my pre-physical. As we were getting toward the end of our discussion, Dr. Paniagua said now let’s talk about your vaccines. We reviewed the ones that I was up-to-date on. Plus I told her that I had my flu shot for the season. She then said what about your Covid shot and I said I wasn’t going to get one. She looked directly at me and said why not,, I said because I don’t want to and she asked again why, I again stated I didn’t want to. She then said if you don’t take it and you would get Covid within the next six months or so it could be tragic so I told her I know you’re trying to take good care of me Dr and I respect you and know I need to do my part to help keep me healthy so I promise I will get one. She turned around and said to me I really appreciate that thank you and at that point, I realized how much I appreciate her and helping me to take better care and enjoy the latter years of my life. . I am going on 82 and I’m realizing that Dr. Paniagua can only do so much that I need to respect her knowledge and skill in managing my health. I appreciate her so much and I’m so happy to be part of MDVIP. In fact I learned recently that my CPA and his wife as well as my brother and sister-in-law have also joined MDVIP. I am very fortunate to have been introduced to the MDVIP program about 12 years ago. It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
