Saving a life, twice

No need for a long story. Simply put, Doctor Donald Barber saved my life twice. First by concluding I should have exploratory surgery for possible lung cancer. Outcome: Removal of a major portion of my left lung but, because it was caught early enough, no spreading. This was over 20 years ago.
Second, my Apple Watch told me my heart rate was way too low, in the 40 range. After a second similar result Dr Barber sent me to a heart specialist. Within a week I had a pacemaker inserted. A possible close call.
All in all I have been incredibly pleased with my internist.
