I called Dr. Shinder in the morning and told her i had some pain in my lower abdomen. She told me to come in at 3:30 that day . Upon seeing me she immediately sent me for a cat scan. Forty five minutes later she had the results and called me to tell me I had a ruptured colon, and she was sending an ambulance for me at the office where I had the c-t scan. She arranged for the ambulance to take me immediately to the hospital, where the Chief of surgery would be waiting for me. Three hours later I was on the operating table and the doctor performed the necessary surgery. i made a rapid recovery and am fine today. Her prompt attention, diagnosis and arrangements saved my life.
