I signed up for MDVIP Dr. Donald Blackmon in Pensacola, FL, in February 2019. In April, I had blood work done for my annual physical. On May 4, 2019, Dr. Blackmon gave me a very intense and detailed physical. My blood pressure was high, my cholesterol was high, I was overweight, and my A1c was in the pre-diabetic range. I ask Dr. Blackmon did he have a plan to get me healthy again. His answer was affirmative. He told me to walk 3 miles/day and gave me a diet to use. I started on May 5, 2019. I have been walking 3 miles/day since May 5 while staying on his diet. On December 30, 2019, I had another appointment with him, and I had blood work done the previous week. When I arrived at his office, he saw me and smiled. He said you are going to love your results. We sat down, and he went over my numbers. My A1c was lower and indicated no evidence of diabetes. My cholesterol was so small that he reduced my dosage by 50%. My blood pressure was normal. He was amazed and very excited for me. I thanked him for changing and saving my life. I have walked over 700 miles and lost 40 pounds. He was my inspiration, and I am so grateful Dr. Blackmon is my doctor.
