I was aware of Dr. Morris who was the primary care provider for my Mother-in-law and my wife had always talked about how patient and thorough he was with her, but I had never met him.

When I needed to change Doctors, my wife suggested Dr. Morris and, after the interview, I was convinced he was the right choice for me. Little did I know at the time how important he would be to my well being.

Literally days after I completed my paperwork with Dr. Morris, I suffered a severe Ischemic stroke and resulting blood clot in my brain which rendered my entire left side useless. I was seen at the local emergency room and immediately transported via helicopter to a larger, better equipped hospital about 65 miles away. My wife contacted Dr. Morris to inform him and they continued to communicate throughout my flight and subsequent emergency surgery to remove a clot from my brain.

The good news, for me, is that the surgery was a total success and I have made a full recovery with no real lasting deficits. Dr. Morris visited me the next day after my surgery and assured me that he was monitoring my recovery and progress and would continue to do so until I could travel back home.

Since my stroke scare, Dr. Morris has continued to closely monitor my health issues and refine my medications. On many occasions, he has provided excellent advice on specialty providers for my health issues. I am very fortunate that Dr. Morris and his very competent staff take a very personal approach to my care.
