A year ago I came home from a trip with bronchitis which turned into pneumonia. Fortunately, Dr. Freedman ordered me a 6 week follow up x-ray and CT which was the beginning of the diagnosis of lung cancer. The pneumonia symptoms were gone, so without my doctor following what my surgeon called the correct protocol, my cancer might have spread, instead of being self contained. I was very lucky twice....having a great doctor and surviving cancer.
