My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

As a primary care physician, it is my mission to help empower my patients to thrive in all aspects of life. I have discovered over my years of practice that many patients want to improve their health but need greater education, accountability and support to bring that to fruition. I focus on the science of behavior change to provide these missing links for my patients. I use every patient encounter as an opportunity to provide more personalized, preventive care with the primary goal of helping patients enjoy a healthier life.

In my quest to better lead my patients, I have become well experienced in the science of habit formation and metabolic health. I conduct clinical research and serve as an associate professor with the University of South Florida, focusing on these domains. My combined research and clinical experience have enabled me to teach my patients and other healthcare professionals how to use nutrition as a metabolic therapy to both help treat and prevent multiple disease processes.

I currently provide care for patients in the greater Tampa Bay, Florida area including Wesley Chapel, South Tampa, North Tampa, Westchase, Lutz, Land O’ Lakes, Zephyrhills and Dade City. My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. I believe I provide a level of care both necessary for and deserving of my patients. My passion for prevention coupled with the MDVIP Wellness Program and patient care model enables me to live out my dream of helping to improve the trajectory of each patient’s life. I am your advocate and will champion your success. Together, we will work to fulfill your health goals so you, in return, can better achieve all you aspire in this great gift of life.
