Jatinder Marwaha, MD, FACP

I am a triple-board certified physician (internal medicine, sleep medicine, and hospice and palliative care) who believes in delivering more comprehensive, individualized care to my patients at every stage in their lives. It is important for me to get to know my patients personally and help them develop a healthier lifestyle that supports their mind, body and soul. I believe the factors required to help an individual to prosper and confidently make decisions and accomplish goals are varied, as are patients’ personal situations and conditions. I look forward to working with you to consider multiple factors and help you prepare for a healthier, more vibrant version of yourself. 

Through my many years of practice, I had the opportunity to work in numerous areas of medicine. Having worked as the director of a large urgent care facility and in the emergency room at San Ramon Regional Medical Center, I feel I am proficient in making more timely evaluations. During those times, I missed practicing internal medicine, which allowed me to develop closer relationships with my patients. So, I moved on to private practice while also working as a hospitalist at San Ramon. I also served as Chief of Staff at San Ramon, where I helped develop key programs for the betterment of patient care. I still serve on San Ramon hospital committees to continue to help improve healthcare delivery.

My MDVIP-affiliated practice offers services, including comprehensive, advanced health screenings and diagnostic tests, that go far beyond those found in concierge medicine practices. Also, we offer same-day or next-day appointments in the office. My primary language is English, and I am fluent in Panjabi, Hindi and Urdu.
