Dear Dr. Reed,
Im remembering back to when my husbands job was moved from Cincinnati, Ohio to here in Jacksonville, and what a really big important decision it was for me in choosing a Primary Care Physician. Id recently been diagnosed with both Auto-immume Hemolytic Anemia, and Hypothyroidism. I feel truly blessed to have found YOU Dr. Reed, and to this very day have never doubted that decision.

A day Im sure that either of us will ever forget happened in early February 1996, when my husband Jim had just got home from work and was having great difficulty waking me. At the same time you were phoning with some alarming lab results and wanting him to get me to hospital RIGHT AWAY as my Hemoglobin had dropped to lower single digits. We got to the hospital and they put me in a room, then you got there very soon after and immediately had them change it to a different one. You were in the room with us when I said I cant breathe as now a blood clot had gone to a lung. During the very long recovery months ahead I was told more than once that had that happened in the middle of the night even in an ICU that I most probably wouldve never made it. However because my doctor was in the room and a lung doctor was on site, was what gave me the very chance to. So yes, thankful beyond words to you for that day, and for the many since dealing with all the this & that along the way. A couple years later our first grandchild was born, then 5 more since. Glad I lived to enjoy the experience of being grandma!!!!!! Also, years later it was exciting to attend our son Ken's graduation for his Masters Degree as had missed his one for college due to my illness. Am including some pics to show some of why Im happy to still be enjoying my family.

Am thankful for having such a wonderful doctor, and always thankful its YOU! On a recent visit to your office, as another patient was leaving she yelled back I love you Dr. Reed. I just smiled and said We ALL do!!!
