I was recently hospitalized in an ICU with acute ketoacidosis (AKA). My wife called him and he triaged my endocrinologist to set up a team that helped me through my trauma. Even though he didn't have privileges, he came and coordinated my treatment team. I am alive and fully recovered. thanks to Dr. Alan Smith!!
