My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Al Olash for many years. Even in the very early days of seeing Dr. Olash, I had grown very comfortable with his knowledge of the medical field and amazing practices. A few years ago, my daughter was laid off from her job and in turn, she slid into a deep depression. I asked Dr. Olash to see her while she was visiting from Chicago because I was so worried about her. Although she was not a patient of his, she had no insurance and was only in town for a few days, he made sure to get her into his office. He worked with my daughter in the office, immediately realizing that the medication previously prescribed by her psychologist was actually have a reverse effect on her. His attention to detail and awareness of the situation still astonish me even today. He even followed up with her afterwards via telephone to make sure she was tapering the medication and having no side effects. I believe without a doubt Dr. Olash saved my daughter's life. His medical advice and kindness showed her that there was hope. Today my daughter is healthy and happy in large part due to Dr. Olash's influence.

That is the kind of doctor he is. To put it simply, he cares. He cares greater than any doctor I have ever met. I was in the medical profession myself for many years. I met and became very close to doctors whom had a world of medical knowledge. I have never seen a doctor like Dr. Olash. He takes time with his patients to actually get to know them, not just their medical history. He is not afraid to show that he is human above all else. He shares struggles he has had in his own life and what has helped him. It is so comforting to have someone like Dr. Olash caring for my husband and I as we age. I could list several examples where he has simply left me thanking God I met him all those years ago. However, no greater gift has he given me than giving my daughter back to me. He has truly given his life and his heart to his profession and should be thanked daily for following the path to becoming a physician.
