I joined MDVIP to have Dr. Dennis Penner become my new GP after my previous GP closed his practice. The physical exam was the most comprehensive I have ever had, and included my first bone density test, which uncovered osteoporosis that had resulted in a dangerously thin femoral neck in my right hip. My osteoporosis is most likely due to low testosterone, a side effect of medication I have been on for ten years. My previous doctor had been fully aware of my low testosterone, but never ordered a bone density test, or even mentioned the possibility of osteoporosis. Dr. Penner immediately prescribed a medication that strengthens my bones, and perhaps has saved me from breaking my hip in the future.

I consider the annual fee for MDVIP to be one of the best investments I have ever made in regards to my physical well-being, am very happy to have found a high-quality GP in Dr. Penner. I do not quite understand why others I speak with about MDVIP balk at the idea of paying an annual fee to have a top-notch doctor in charge of their health. As my mother used to be fond of saying, "You get what you pay for", (as well as "If you can't go First Class, don't go!").
