Testimony for Dr. Scoles and his office staff
I am so grateful I've had the opportunity to be a part of MDVIP and under the care of Dr. Lyndon Scoles! He and his entire staff are genuine in their care and have always been so pleasant to visit/deal with. Dr. Scoles has supported my overall health in providing me ADDITIONAL information I've never known about myself in the past through regular visits and regular lab work that reached beyond what I received in previous years through my former internist/primary care physician (although that was thorough too, just not as much). I came under the care of Dr. Scoles simply because my former primary care physician was retiring and I was seeking an internist to follow and monitor all areas of my body/health with referrals out to specialists if/when needed, but predominantly because I wanted a primary care physician who would ALSO follow me in the hospital should I ever be admitted. I mean, why WOULDN'T a person want their closest physician who knows and provides regular and timely care to be on board if serious complications arise?!
Dr. Scoles even answers the phone if I call after the office staff have gone home on a given day thinking I will leave a message, and THAT is quite a plus in today's healthcare world. In addition to that, he spends QUALITY time in every visit in both listening to my comments and concerns and allowing time for discussion as well as explaining the lab tests results so that I am understanding completely. The report I receive is also very helpful!
The only concern or negative issue I have right now is the jump in costs for MDVIP Membership that I've experienced since joining originally. Being on a small income with my husband retired for 2 years now and being of the age I very much need this type of care going forward to be the best I can be, and the fact I am still working but only part-time, I feel that I cannot yet retire due to needed to supplement income to afford this membership. This year even with my income because of other unexpected costs, the rise in taxes and inflation, the concerns about being able to afford it have intensified.
In closing, Dr. Scoles and his staff deserve high ratings for what they do as a team and the care they provide! I love them!
