Used my wife on me

A few years ago while on vacation I suffered a TIA as a result of a dissection of my carotid artery. I did not realize the extent of the injury and passed it off as too hard of a workout with my boys. When I got home I agreed to have a MRI. I had just returned home from work the day of the test and Dr. Neibaur called my wife on her cell phone and told her that something showed up on the MRI but they couldn't see exactly what it was. However, she needed to take me to the ER immediately. He then called the hospital that was closest to my home and made sure that they had stroke capabilities. Then he called my wife back to make sure that we were on our way. Everything turned out just fine. It was nice having a doctor who knew me well enough to know that I probably wouldn't have been too concerned. So he went the extra mile and called my wife to make sure I got the treatment I needed. I'll be a patient as long as he will keep me!! Thanks!!!
