My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
Visits last as long as necessary and are scheduled at your convenience. For patients who cannot come to my office due to medical reasons, I am often able to make house calls. As a private doctor, I am available when my patients need me, including evenings, weekends and holidays. My MDVIP-affiliated practice, often compared to a concierge medicine practice, also offers conveniences like same- or next-day appointments. In my personalized healthcare practice, you are the center of attention.
I have been an attending physician at St. Mary’s Medical Center and Good Samaritan Medical Center for over 30 years. It is my firm belief that if you are hospitalized, the doctor who cares for you should be the doctor who knows you best. I also care for my patients who are in rehabilitation facilities and nursing homes. I will be your advocate, as well as your physician, to help you and your family navigate our complex healthcare system.
My primary care internal medicine practice serves all of Palm Beach County, Florida, including Palm Beach, West Palm Beach, Palm Beach Gardens, Royal Palm Beach, Wellington, Lake Worth and Boca Raton. I also see patients from Martin and St. Lucie counties.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Wacks
I woke up with a shooting pain in my foot. Knowing that Dr. Wacks would see me the same day made me feel comforted. He checked it out thoroughly ( as he always does everything) gave me medication and voila - no more pain. He takes the time to listen and both my husband and I adore him.
My husband and I have been patients of Dr. Wacks long before he joined the MDVIP group. He is always there for us when needed. If not for him, Daniel would not have had a life saving procedure for his heart because we were not aware of any condition he had. I know when I call his office he will return my call that day and calm me down as I have full faith in his help. We hope Dr. Wacks will… See more
He sees me whenever I need to be seen and sometimes when I don't! He is very attentive and makes sure that I am in good health and doing things to stay in good health. He is knowledgeable and very easy to talk to. He is on staff at Good Samaritan Hospital as well. I highly recommend him! It has definitely been worth it!
Dr Wacks told me I had to stop drinking alcohol, it showed in my labs accident prone frequencies among other concerns.
He said it in a serious yet gentle voice. He leaned forward towards me and said, “You can do this, you can, you can do it.” The kind caring and true concern look on his face remains with me always…I stopped drinking am alive and well yet I still have one day at a time to… See more
He knows you, he listens to you. There are several times that he kept me alive. But what he is really about is this. 2019 I am in the ICU in pretty bad shape. At 6AM, I look up and there is Bob Wacks. I asked what the hell he was doing there. He said that he just wanted to make sure that I was ok. I am 73 years old and have my share of hospitalizations. Never has my primary care doctor… See more
Our family has been very lucky to have Dr Wacks take care of us in our times of need. In addition to his medical expertise, he gives us great advise on leading a healthy lifestyle. He has become much more than a family doctor to us. We are very blessed to have him as our medical expert, health & wellness adviser and friend.
As well, his office staff are very helpful, accommodating… See more
"Dr Whacks is my VIP doctor for about two years. I am a 63 year old active male with lifetime of gyms, machine Pilates and hot yoga as well hiking and biking etc. Right from the get go at our initial visit he discovered what previous doctors, of several years didn't, that my blood hemoglobin was too high (17+) and prescribed donating blood every two weeks to get the elevated blood… See more
Dr Wacks always responds to a phone call and will see us or send in a prescription right away. He’s the doctor with the old-school “bedside” manner. He listens, he really cares and he keeps up with the latest medical developments. What truly stands out, however, is the time a friend of ours visiting from abroad had a situation in which his own doctor told him to get to the nearest emergency… See more
I love Dr. Wacks. He and his staff feel like family. There have been countless times where he has taken my husband and myself to the pharmacy and he even made a call to get me in with a specialist and his nurse, Arlene, gave me a ride there and picked me up!
I am grateful for the care we have received.
