I joined the practice 6 or 7 years ago because I thought, as I got older, it would be worth the money to join a concierge practice to get a higher level of care.
This has absolutely been the case with Dr. Keshishian! She is available for appointments when I need to come in outside of my usual visits, which is wonderful.
In addition, she is great about answering questions on the… See more

My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...
Communication is paramount to the doctor-patient relationship, and I spend extra time to develop meaningful relationships with my patients both inside and outside of the exam room. I enjoy sharing healthy cooking tips to improve nutrition, and we incorporate exercise, such as Pilates and Yoga to enhance flexibility, improve sleep quality and increase core strength. Similar to concierge medicine practices, I also offer conveniences like same- or next-day appointments that start on time.
I am one of a few female MDVIP-affiliated internists in the Washington, D.C. area. My practice is located in Bethesda, MD, serving the Arlington and McLean areas of Virginia, as well as the Potomac, Wheaton and Silver Spring communities of Maryland and Washington, D.C. I am affiliated with Adventist Healthcare Shady Grove Medical Center in Rockville, Maryland and Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Maryland, and I always visit patients in those hospitals. As a primary care doctor board certified in internal medicine, I also have interests in preventive medicine, women’s health, nutrition and integrative health. I speak fluent English and Spanish.

Testimonials from patients of Dr. Keshishian
I am now 90 & 3/4 years old. That is a long time to have to deal with health-related issues, which inevitably means being cared for different doctors over that lengthy period. Dr. Keshishian is by far the best primary care doc I have ever had. First and foremost, she is very thorough in requesting very detailed tests, e.g., blood profiles essential for recognizing significant abnormalities… See more
My wife, Rebecca, and I were lucky enough to stumble upon Daphne Keshishian, M.D. to be our Primary Care doc, beginning some years ago. For the past 3 plus years, Rebecca has been treated for a complicated metastatic cancer. Multiple specialists are involved. "Dr. K" has succeeded in doing "the impossible": e.g., putting together their (often contradictory) opinions, and… See more
Dr. Keshishian is a very caring physician. She is also very thorough in her examinations, and she explains everything. I have the highest regard for her, her medical knowledge, her caring empathetic approach and recommendations. She refers me to specialists when indicated, and that has made a significant difference in my care.
Ladies and Gentlemen: I wish I had an illustrative anecdote that would be truly useful to you. I am not known as a very trusting or effusive person, so let me simply state that during my very long life I have almost never encountered such a confidence-inspiring individual as Daphne Keshishian. Not only do I have confidence in her, but I approach any medical professional to whom she… See more

Dr. Keshishian is the most dedicated and caring doctor that I have ever had. Aside from being knowledgeable and thorough, she always focuses on my wellbeing.
The best example I can think of is a recent event. My husband was diagnosed with COVID-19 two weeks ago. I called Dr. Keshishian and we discussed my next steps. This was on a Friday. She called me two more times over the… See more
Friends and family mock me for not trusting anyone or anything with any ease or timeliness. The first time I met with Dr. Keshishian, I encountered a truly trustworthy person. I felt so fortunate, and I continue to feel so.
I also sincerely believe that these testimonials would deeply embarrass Dr. Keshishian, and that she would not thank any of us for such praise. Her strength of… See more
I found Dr. Keshishian in 2015. I survived a cataclysmic medical event in 2011 and joined MDVIP when I came to understand that I would be permanently disabled and needed a higher level of medical care. I am SO GRATEFUL to be Dr. Keshishian's patient. With such a complicated medical situation it is a relief to look to her as my starting point for everything when I need advice. She… See more
