My first experience with Dr. Yerg occurred many years ago when I was scheduled to travel overseas to meet my nieces for the first time after 17 years. A week before the trip I came down with a severe case of illness and was unable to breath and considered cancelling the trip. Dr. Yerg evaluated and diagnosed my condition and treated me in time so I was able to go on my trip. Subsequent years… See more

I also wanted to add that Dr. Yerg has gone above and beyond expectations to provide me the best care. He is always reachable and provides me all the time I need to make sure all my questions are answered. In short, I am lucky to be one of Dr. Yerg's patients.

Dr. Yerg has been our family PCP for over two decades. His knowledge, personal attention, professionalism, and tenacity regarding treatments has been outstanding! As someone who has and continues to perform a great deal of care-giving, I can unequivocally give him top marks - training and experience are important, but the ability to apply those, AND be dedicated to seeking out additional… See more

Dr. Yerg has been my primary physician for many years after I was diagnosed with pneumonia and the emergency hospital referred me to him. He is extremely good, hes fun, he is honest and compassionate. Within the last year my best friend and also a patient of Dr. Yerg passed away. He was very fond of her and I leaned on him for support and comfort. He did not let me down.

I have been a patient of Dr. Yerg's for over 30 years. He is so knowledgeable and has treated me for many different ailments in that time frame. I trust him explicitly. He truly cares about his patients and goes out of his way to take time with you and actually listens to you. This is somewhat a novelty in the practice of medicine today. Everyone in my family has gone to him over… See more

At age 75 I've had a lot of primary care doctors over the years, and Dr. Yerg is the best ! He alerts me when his examinations and lab results are of concern and offers suggestions to remedy them. If I have an urgent condition he will see me without delay. If I need a prescription refill there is no delay. His staff are excellent and have been with him for many years, which speaks… See more

I rate Dr. Yerg a 5.
He has been my doctor for about 20 years. He is caring and takes the time to explain medications and conditions that I have had.
He listens to me and I can always get an appointment when I need it.
It is important for me to have a doctor that I can trust and he is the one.

When I first came to DC my wife's asthma became worse and worse. Despite a very full patient load, Dr. Yerg agreed to fit her in. Under his care, she went from regular attacks to barely even noticing that she had asthma. I can't begin to tell how many different aspects of our lives this touched. We had our first child a few years ago. Watching the two of them run and play together… See more

I told Dr Yerg back in August a basil cell was discovered, and my Dermatologist was going to remove it from my forehead. Dr Yerg looked at it and said you really should have a MOHS surgeon do this since it's on your face and they will ensure all the cells are removed gradually. He recommended the best MOHS surgeon in the area, and I was so pleased with his suggestion because now you… See more

Dr. Yerg is the very best! I will never forget the day when stress at my work place induced a panic attack that I thought was a heart attack. I was closer to Dr. Yerg's office than the hospital. He stayed with me on the phone until I arrived and he saw me right away. Fortunately everything turned out well.
