Before joining MDVIP, Eric helped healthcare businesses transition from high patient volumes focused on reactive sick care to value-based organizations focused on prevention.

“I’m focused on trying to keep people healthy and out of the hospital, an objective that very closely correlates to the mission of MDVIP,” Eric says.

Eric has a long history of collaborating effectively with doctors, as well as experience in national, multi-site healthcare operations. He was formerly the COO for Associates in Nephrology and served as senior vice president for Fresenius Health Partners, where he was responsible for operations and client relations. He has an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University and was previously a CPA. He started his career in accounting and finance, working on consumer products for global manufacturers like Philip Morris and Kraft.

“I’ve come full circle. When I went into healthcare, I went from discussing how to sell an extra cigarette or ounce of cheese to discussing co-morbidities of patients, mortality rates and other health outcomes. For me, this change highlights how the work I do can help improve people’s lives, which has become my mission,” Eric says.

In his spare time, Eric enjoys golfing, exercising and traveling with his wife and two college-aged kids.
