My Philosophy and Approach to Wellness...

My goal as your personal doctor is to partner with you to provide individualized care. My role as your physician is to serve as your quarterback to navigate the healthcare system and advocate for you. I focus on preventive care as the best way to avoid illness, as many medical conditions can be prevented. I will work with you at each step to help you make informed decisions toward achieving your goals – whether it's biking to work, surfing San Onofre or watching the sun set. In addition to being a primary care physician, I am also a board-certified Addiction Specialist and see patients for various addictive problems and provide consultations to referred patients for gambling, alcohol, substance and cigarette dependency.

As one of the few family medicine doctors in Orange County offering this personalized healthcare approach, similar to concierge medicine, I provide a level of care that can help keep you in optimal health.

My practice is located in Dana Point, California, and serves patients from Laguna Beach, Laguna Niguel, Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano and San Clemente. We focus on physical, mental and preventive care in addition to all aspects of primary care. I am affiliated with Mission Hospital in Laguna Beach.

Dr Snyder has been rock solid for us now for many years, our doctor and the person we trust with our health. He has been there numerous times for my wife, at all different hours, helping her through some tough spots and we really appreciate that. He is kind, yet direct with his thoughts and in total, he gives my wife and I a comfort that is unique, rare and deeply appreciated. Thank you… See more

Larry has been so good to us, my wife and I. In her recent medical illness, the many times she called him by phone off hours to get support and counsel, at a time she most needed it. Neither she nor I had any idea as to what was going on and he helped to consistently guide us the right way. And again a few months back, when my wife was traveling and I had just returned from also being on… See more

I am fortunate that I am in good health and have good genes. So I am lucky that, at least right now, I do not have a need to have a doctor at my beck and call. But Larry has always been available to me if I need him and he is a very good and concerned doctor. More importantly, at least to me at this time of my life, Larry is a good person, concerned about his profession and his community… See more

He has guided me through the many stresses imposed by my career and has been instrumental in assisting me to find some peace, improve my health, and guide me into my recent retirement.
